Going Down Memory Lane in the South

Tinko Alcoy Beach, Cebu
There's nothing more enjoyable and more relaxing than to hit the beach, lie in the sand, then get sober at night with the gentle sound of waves  serves as the background music! This is what i love about living in places i am not familiar with.

Morning delight in Moalboal
In Moalboal with pack of  friends
Moalboal offers inexpensive divine beach resorts
Everyday is an adventure!

Discovering new things never ends!

You get to end up in a place totally lost only to find out, feeling like an idiot, you are in the spot where you started at.

You feel like you have walked a mile but in fact, you are just wandering in circles.

And most of all, you learn new things about yourself and realize that life has a lot to offer. why settle for less when you can get more?
Playing along the tiny waves
Heading to Pescador Island
Tinko Beach Resort,  a 3-hour ride from the heart of Cebu. You can go there by bus and lucky you if you have private vehicles- you will get there in 2 hours or less. Still not complete with amenities but the place is promising. The beach front is clean and the water is so tempting you can't resit to swim even though it's high-noon! so don't forget to wear sunblock when you feel like strutting you stuff in the beach!

Kawasan Falls Resort
Kawasan Falls, Badian Cebu
pose and dive!
The place is mesmerizing and so enchanting!

Kawasan falls is just a 15-min ride from Moalboal, a three tiered cascade of crystal clear mountain springs. It is actually a hierarchy of waterfalls, of which the first is the biggest, however the scenery gets wilder and more impressive the further up you go.

So from the parking area you'll have to walk more or less 15 to 30 minutes along a very rocky and narrow path, but even though it is a bit humbling bumbling it is worth it, just take it easy and enjoy the walk along the beautiful river.

Nothing more like riding home in a rusty, rocky bus!
This is one of the funniest travel I made so far, riding in the bus full of rust. We visited a place known for its historical churches, still standing for more than a decade (which I am going to post for the next page) when I encountered this. One look and you will know the bus will go off anytime. The seats are made of wood and it has broken windows.

But what made it look fun is the whole picture of riding it for the first time of your life... with all the discomfort when it will across bumps, the thought you risk your life the moment you are on it, and the fun you will get by just simply sitting one of their funny seats.

The experience was simply unique!
